If you have means and resources please consider helping Santa Maria with the following needs:
• game prizes for children, such as leftover
Happy Meal toys, stuffed animals, etc.
• Kroger gift cards to use as incentives
for Best Budgeter class participants (10-15
a month @$10) - need beginning of September
• calculators for Tenant Education/Best
Budgeter class participants (15 a month)
• small filing cabinet with lock
• signs for parking lot (to indicate that
the lot is reserved for Santa Maria employees
and housing clients during the day)
• pickup truck to help families move into
affordable housing
• incentives ($25 gift cards to Kroger,
Meijer, Walmart, etc.) for parents of the
students with whom the program is working
to reduce school truancy (28 cards needed)
• The Speed DIAL test ($250) and the DIAL
test ($550) - this is the instrument we
use for testing and evaluating our children
every six months. It is an overall developmental
screening that allows us to see where the
children are currently and how to set our
future goals.
• toys and books (new and/or gently used)
• computer projector
• 3 small flat panel monitors (15"
or so) for the servers at each Santa Maria
site. Larger flat panel monitors for computers
in the agency
• painting supplies for the upcoming move
from Price Avenue Center to Sedamsville
Center
