Westside Health Access

Santa Maria's Westside Health Access reaches out to older adults, Appalachians, African Americans and Latino immigrants who do not receive regular health care. Volunteers and staff act as health navaigators helping individuals in their homes, churches, community centers and in health fairs.

The Jordan Health Program became part of Santa Maria Community Sevices in 2001 and since then has served the needs of many uninsured and underinsured people in our community. In 2007 the Jordan Health program, became part of the Westside Health Access.

In 2001 Santa Maria launched the Bienestar Program, specially designed to provide assistance to the Hispanic population of Greater Cincinnati in the areas of health access and health education.

188 volunteers provide 11,797 hours to the Meals-on-Wheels program. This program serves home bound elderly individuals and helps them stay in their homes as long as possible.
